Start with one fix.

No big software project. Pick the one job that keeps falling through the cracks, we fix that first, and you see it working before anything else.

What is the busywork costing you?

Most of the savings are not AI. They are hours your team stops spending on retyping and chasing, and subscriptions you stop paying for. Move the sliders.

Your tools

Keep what works. Make it work together.

You do not need new software for everything. Most of what you pay for already does the job. It just does not talk to the rest, so people copy things between screens. Tick what you use.

Own your software instead of renting it

Off-the-shelf tools charge per seat and make you work their way. We build the app around your business once, you stop paying for the tools it replaces, and agents can work inside it later.

Your own apps

Software you own, built for the way your team works, instead of another subscription.

Apps and dashboards for the people running the business: orders, purchasing, production, scheduling. Built once around how you work, without per-seat fees, and able to replace tools you pay for every month.

  • Operations portal
  • Order and purchasing dashboards
  • Tablet apps for the floor

Running todayThreadCo's team works in an operations portal with its agents, plus order and purchasing dashboards and a tablet app for the store floor.

Custom CRM

Every lead, quote and follow-up in one place, built around how you sell.

A CRM shaped to your sales process instead of the other way round. Leads arrive from your website and ads, quotes and follow-ups are tracked, and you can see which ads bring in real work.

  • Lead tracking
  • Quote follow-ups
  • Ad reporting

Running todayThreadCo runs on its own CRM: leads, quotes, follow-ups and reports on which ads turn into orders.

Custom ERP

Products, orders, stock and accounting, connected.

An operations system for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets: a product catalogue, orders, stock, and a customer ordering portal on the same data, synced with your accounting software.

  • Catalogue and orders
  • Customer ordering portal
  • QuickBooks sync and reports

Running todayWe built and run an ERP for a BC wholesaler in our group, with a customer ordering portal and QuickBooks sync.

Websites

Fast sites that bring in work, and that search engines and AI assistants can read.

Websites built to turn visitors into enquiries: quick to load, written plainly, set up for Google, Bing and AI search, with quote forms that take files and land straight in your CRM.

  • Quote forms with file upload
  • SEO and AI search setup
  • Local pages

Running todayWe rebuilt threadcoprint.com and the websites of two retail stores in our group.

Where everything lives.

Your roadmap, approvals, meetings and hours in one place. You run it with us, and you can always see what we're doing.

After we build it

We do not build it and disappear.

You do not need to know what any of this means. It means what we build for you is backed up, watched, and fixed by the people who wrote it, the same way we run our own businesses.

  • 30+

    apps we run in production

Across a print shop, a wholesale company and two retail stores in our group. Orders, stock, payments, websites, every day.

  • 14days

    of restore points

Databases are backed up automatically every night. If something goes wrong, we can roll back to any point in the last two weeks.

  • 4

    AI agents at work daily

Sorting email, following up on orders and flagging what is overdue, inside real businesses, before we suggest one for yours.

  • Tested before it goes liveChanges go to a test copy before they reach your team.
  • Monitored, and fixed by usEvery app is logged and monitored, and the people who wrote it fix it.
  • Private by defaultOffice systems sit on private networks, reachable only by your team. Staff sign in once, with one account.
  • Built on Amazon Web ServicesThe same cloud large companies use, set up and paid for at small business scale.

What would we build for you?

Pick the closest match. Every plan starts with the job that eats the most of your week.

Plumbers, gas fitters, drains, water heaters, boilers

We would start withMissed calls texted back and quotes that follow themselves up

  1. Call to booked jobMissed calls get a text and a booking link. The job lands on the calendar with the address.
  2. Quotes and follow-upsEvery quote in one list, with a polite nudge when nobody answers.
  3. Done, invoiced, paidThe tech marks it done, the invoice and pay link go out, QuickBooks updates itself.

How we work

Small pieces first. You see one working before you spend on the next.

  1. A free call

Thirty minutes on how your week really goes: the phone, the quotes, the invoices, the tools you pay for.

A short written plan: what to keep, connect, replace, and what to fix first

  2. One fix first

We start with the single job that wastes the most time. Priced in writing before any work starts.

Something working in your business, small enough to judge

  3. Then the next piece

Only when the first fix has earned it. We keep what we built running and adjust it as your business changes.

You decide what comes next, every time

Fair questions

Is building our own app really cheaper than subscriptions?

Often, over a few years, especially when you pay per seat for tools that only half fit. Not always. On the free call we compare what you pay now with what a build would cost, and if a subscription is the better deal we tell you.

Do I have to switch from Jobber, Housecall Pro or QuickBooks?

No. If a tool does its job, you keep it. Most of our work is making the tools you already pay for talk to each other, so nobody copies things between screens. We only suggest replacing something when it costs more than it gives, and we tell you why.

Do we have to use AI?

No. Most of the savings come from automating handoffs and building the right app. We add AI agents only where they save real time, like drafting replies to quote requests, and you approve what they do.

Do I need to be technical to use this?

No. We set everything up and connect it to the tools you already use. Day to day, you read drafts and press send, the same as checking email.

Will an agent send anything without me seeing it?

Not unless you decide it should. Every agent starts by drafting for your approval. Once you trust a task, you can let it run on its own, and you can switch that off again at any time.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Owner-run service businesses in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, roughly 1 to 50 people: plumbing and heating, pest control, electrical, HVAC, cleaning, landscaping. Shops, wholesalers and print shops too. If your week is full of callbacks, quotes and paperwork, we can probably help.

Can you set up Hermes, OpenClaw, Grok or Meta Muse for us?

Yes. We install and connect agent platforms like Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, Grok Team Bots, Meta Muse for Small Business, Claude and ChatGPT agents, each on its own sandboxed account with only the access it needs, and with your approval before it sends or pays for anything.

Where does my data live?

Before anything is switched on, we show you which services hold your data and in which country. If you need it kept in Canada, we tell you up front whether your setup allows it.

What does it cost?

It depends on what we build. After the free call you get a written quote in Canadian dollars before any work starts.

What happens on the free call?

About thirty minutes on how a normal week goes: the phone, quotes, invoices and the tools you pay for. Afterwards you get a short written plan of what to keep, connect or replace and what to fix first, whether or not you work with us.

Tell us about your week

The call is free. You keep the plan, whether or not you work with us.

People on the team optional

Missed calls while I'm on a job, quotes I never follow up, invoices I chase on weekends.
